Athletics | Mission Dolores Academy

Mission Dolores Academy's athletic program is a non-cut program, which means everyone who wants to play, gets to play! Our program is designed to tailor for every level and background; therefore, it is perfectly fine if your child does not know how to play sports he/she interested in. Now is his/her opportunity to learn and our coaches are passionate to teach.  At Mission Dolores Academy, we’re pleased to offer our students the opportunity to play CYO sports as an extra-curricular activity.

2016 Girls Basketball

The 2016 Girls Basketball season will run from March 11 to May 17. The post season begins May 18 to May 26. Teams will practice 2 times a week after school.

  • We are looking for volunteers to coach, assistant coach, and work in the snack bar (Friday nights and Saturday mornings). This is an opportunity to complete parents’ hours.

Track and Field Meet

We are excited to inform you that the 2016 CYO Track & Field Meet is just around the corner. Boys & Girls from 3rd grade to 8th grade are welcome to participate in this event.  If you are planning to enter your kid(s) in this year CYO track & field meet then you will need to act now.

The 2016 CYO Track & Field Meet will be held on Sunday, May 1st at Riordan High School from 12:00pm-5:00pm.


The registration is due NO LATER than: Wednesday, April 13, 2016 by 4:00pm (turn in your registration forms to Mr. Francisco at the front desk). Please write which event your kids will be participating on the registration form: 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m Relay, 4X100, Long Jump, Softball Throw

To avoid long lines, participants should arrive at least 30-minutes prior to their first event.


The event is FREE for participants from current CYO programs. Participants from non-CYO programs must sign a waiver and pay a $10 fee.


School apparel (t-shirt, sweatshirt, etc.) and athletic shoes. No spiked shoes allowed.


Top 5 boys & girls finishers in each running event (based on finish-time) and field event (based on distance after three attempts) will receive awards.
