After-School Academic Program | Mission Dolores Academy

The After-School Academic Program (A.S.A.P.) provides academic tutoring, recreation, and enrichment activities for children enrolled at Mission Dolores Academy in grades kindergarten through eight.

This professionally operated program allows children to continue their learning beyond the school day. Arts and craft projects, games, recreation, and snack time are just a few of the program components. Additionally, there is time set aside for homework.

For: Grades K-8
Dates: All School Days from September – June, unless otherwise noted. For 2016 there is no after school program on March 24th and June 10th.
Hours: Regular days (Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri) 4 to 6 p.m.; Wednesdays (2 p.m. Dismissal) 2 to 6 p.m.; Parent conference days (12:30 dismissal) 12:30 to 6 p.m.

  • Chess Club (Wednesdays at 2:15. No extra charge for students registered for A.S.A.P., extra fee for non-ASAP students)
  • Yoga Class (Grades 3-5, Wednesdays from 3:45-4:20. Grades K-2, Wednesdays 4:35-5:20. Advance registration and extra fee is required)

Fees and Pick Ups

The cost of the program is $140 per month for each student.  Payment is due by the 10th of each month. Parents are responsible for payment and prompt pickup of students.

Late charges

There is a $1 per minute cash late fee per child if the parents pick up their child after 6 p.m.  If a parent or guardian fails to meet the Mission Dolores Academy After School Academic Program fee payment due by the first week of each month, the child will not be allowed to continue in the program.
