Volunteer Opportunities

Literacy Program

Studies have shown children who are not reading at grade level by 3rd grade often never catch up and, thus, do not reach their potential. The most common reason is mom and dad are non-native English speakers and unable to read with them in English.

You literally can change a child’s life just by reading with them. Our literacy program happens during the school day, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

After-School Program

Our after-school program runs Mon – Fri from 4 to 6 p.m. and keeps students engaged and productive until mom or dad finishes work. Help a student with her homework or teach a group some cool skill you know – from how to create a web page to modern jazz dance.

Sports Program

We are always in need of coaches for girls and boys sports including basketball, volleyball, and soccer. Assistants are also often needed during games to support coaches, run time clocks, manage the snack bar, and help with other game time tasks.

Campus Beautification

Do you like to garden, or are you handy around the house? Maybe you just like lifting really heavy things and putting them someplace else. There are always special projects to help make our campus beautiful.

Professional Services

Do you attend hackathons? Perhaps you’re a lawyer, accountant, seasoned graphics or UI designer? Or a carpenter, plumber or painter? We have pro bono projects that would help the school and may provide you with a tax deduction.
